FIFA has announced plans to introduce a Super Bowl-style halftime show at the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking a historic first for the tournament.
The groundbreaking performance is scheduled for July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which will be rebranded as New York New Jersey Stadium for the event.
According to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, the halftime show will feature multiple major artistes in a bid to create a “fantastic” entertainment experience during football’s biggest match.
