The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, has resigned. Tuggars resignation was confirmed by the ministrys spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa, on Monday, March 30. The ministers action followed the directive of President Bola Tinubu to all political appointees in his administration who intend to contest elective positions in the 2027 elections to resign from their posts on or before March 31.
