Four dead, 7 injured in Kano building collapse

At least four people died and seven others were injured when a three-storey building collapsed at the Abedi Sabon Gari area of Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State on Sunday.

The Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA), Nuradeen Abdullahi, confirmed the news to journalists on Monday in Kano.

He said the building came down at about 7:00 p.m. after a heavy downpour in the community.

“Upon receiving the distress alert, we immediately mobilised our Search and Rescue (SAR) response team to the scene in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders,” Abdullahi stated.
