A petrol tanker on Tuesday crushed at least six persons to death along the Beere/Agodi Road in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Six tricycles, otherwise known as “Keke” were also destroyed by the truck.
An eyewitness told journalists that the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle at the Beere end of the road and rammed into the tricycles.

He said: “It ran over two tricycles at Beere, leaving the two passengers dead before heading toward the Oje Market Road, where it ended up killing another four people.”
However, another eyewitness, who is a motorcyclist, said the death rate was more than six.
He added that some unidentified corpses had earlier been packed in body bags.
