Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday presented new official vehicles to Level 17 officers across the Lagos State Public Service, aiming to improve efficiency and performance in the state’s Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
A statement on Wednesday, by the Governor, highlighted the critical role senior directors play in ensuring effective governance.
“These are Directors who play a key role in how our Ministries, Departments, and Agencies deliver results. Supporting them is a practical step to help them do their work better,” he said.
The vehicles, provided to senior executives responsible for supervising key operations, are expected to facilitate daily administrative duties, improve mobility, and enhance response times for urgent tasks across the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also stressed the connection between motivation and good governance, noting that proper resources help public servants take ownership of their roles.
“A motivated public service is at the heart of good governance. When people are properly equipped, they take more ownership, stay focused, and deliver with greater commitment,” he added.
The presentation forms part of ongoing government efforts to strengthen service delivery, promote accountability, and raise performance standards across all operations
