Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped a staff member of the Federal Medical Centre in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The victim, simply known as Pastor Akesinro, was kidnapped at his residence in Upenme, Owo LGA, on Thursday evening.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adebowale Lawal, who confirmed the incident to journalists on Friday in Akure, said police operatives are combing the forests to arrest the kidnappers and rescue the victim unhurt.

He added that the operatives are working with personnel of other security agencies to rescue the victim.
The CP said: “Our men are currently inside the bush in collaboration with other sister security agencies and engaging the community to rescue the victim unhurt.
“Let me assure you that we are not resting to ensure the citizens of the state are well secured.”
