Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, said he has no regrets about any of his political decisions in the past year.
Wike made the statement on Monday while fielding questions during his monthly media parley in Abuja.
The former Rivers State governor acknowledged that he is human and that things cannot always go smoothly.
On his recent encounter with a naval officer in the FCT, Wike said such incidents are bound to happen but emphasized that he does not regret any decision he has made.
He said: “Like I said, I am human; you can’t expect things to be smooth all the time. I don’t have any regrets. Every decision I have set, I have been able to achieve. Yes, there could be one or two setbacks—it’s bound to happen. But, like I said, I don’t have regrets about any decision I have taken.
“In politics, you expect to see such situations. If they happen, that shouldn’t make you think there are problems you cannot overcome, and we have still surmounted them.”
