Yoruba self-determination campaigner, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has declared that he practices traditional spirituality alongside his Christian faith.
Igboho disclosed this while addressing a council of traditional rulers, during which he spoke frankly about his religious background, early life, and spiritual beliefs.
The freedom fighter insisted that embracing charms does not contradict his Christianity.
“I am a Christian, but I use charms. I do all religions. Even Islamic father, Muideen Ajayi Bello is a Muslim, I am a Christian. I was born in church, but I do charms. I was trained in the act.
“Everyone knows my father is a babalawo in Modakeke,” he said.
The Yoruba nation freedom fighter hails from Igboho, in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State.
His family later moved to Modakeke in Osun State, where he grew up under the guidance of his father.
His agitation for Yoruba nation and an attempt to rid the Southwest of killer Fulani herders incurred the anger of the Nigerian government.
