Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has said he is the most criticised politician in Nigeria after President Bola Tinubu. Wike made the remark on Saturday, December 27, while addressing stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ochigba, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State. The meeting formed part of an end-of-year thanksgiving service organised by former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche, in his hometown of Ochigba. According to Wike, he attracts criticism because of his insistence on adherence to agreements, particularly those meant to ensure that his supporters are carried along. After Tinubu, the next most abused politician today is me, Wike said. Why are they abusing me? Because they know that agreement is agreement. When we have agreed on something, lets implement it. If we cant implement it, dont even come for it. He added that long-standing political agreements must be respected, stressing continued support for the president. So for us, long before now we have agreed that we must make sure that we will continue to support Tinubu.
