Amid the US-Israeli airstrikes and Iranian counterattacks, US President Donald Trump has provided advice for American citizens seeking to leave the Middle East.
In a message on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday night, Trump revealed a dedicated phone number to assist those wishing to return home.
He stated that over 9,000 Americans have successfully evacuated the region since the inception of Operation Epic Fury.
“Since the launch of Operation Epic Fury, more than 9,000 Americans have safely returned home from the Middle East,” Trump announced.
He urged any U.S. citizen currently in the Middle East to register with the State Department at Step.State.Gov, which will help identify their location and offer travel options.
Trump mentioned that the government is facilitating charter flights and commercial bookings at no cost, with plans for expanded availability.
Additionally, the US leader provided a 24/7 contact line for support: “+1-202-501-4444.”
This advisory follows the U.S. government’s warning for citizens to leave 14 nations in the region, including Israel, Iraq, and Iran, via commercial means.
