
The United Arab Emirates, UAE, on Saturday said it intercepted at least 119 drones and 15 ballistic missiles fired by Iran.
The Ministry of Defense made this disclosure via X.
It said the drones made it through air defenses and fell within UAE territory, adding that one ballistic missile fell into the sea.
According to the ministry, the UAE military is on high alert deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that undermines the state’s security.
DAILY POST had reported that the war broke out last Saturday when the United States and its ally, Israel, launched an attack on the Islamic Republic resulting in the death of its Supreme Leader and other notable top government officials.
Iran, in retaliation has also been launching missiles on Israel as well as other neighbouring countries.
