Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium must be removed before any conclusion can be drawn about the ongoing US-Israeli military confrontation with Iran.
Speaking in an interview excerpt aired ahead of CBS’s “60 Minutes” programme on Sunday, Netanyahu insisted that the situation remains unresolved due to Iran’s remaining nuclear capabilities.
“It’s not over, because there’s still nuclear material, enriched uranium, that has to be taken out of Iran. There’s still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled,” he said.
When asked how the uranium could be removed, the Israeli leader responded: “You go in and you take it out.”
