A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has claimed that the Gulf states made a costly bargain in throwing their support for the US- Israeli military attack on Iran.

According to Garba, the Iranian drone strikes have now as a result set Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura oil refinery and port facilities ablaze and destroyed desalination plants in the United Arab Emirates.

In a post on X on Monday, the APC chieftain claimed that the Gulf region was engulfed in crisis, stating that “the entire gulf is on fire,” while accusing the United States of concentrating its efforts on protecting Israel against Hezbollah.

He further asserted that Gulf States, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, had made what he described as a “costly bargain.”

He wrote: “Saudi’s Ras Tamura oil refinery and port facilities are on fire by Iranian drone strikes.

“UAE desalination plants destroyed by Iranian drone strikes.

“The entire gulf is on fire, however, the US is focusing on protecting Israel against Hezbollah.

“The Gulf States have made a costly bargain.”

DAILY POST reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was on Saturday killed after the United States and Israel launched the most ambitious attack on Iranian targets in decades.

Iranian media also confirmed that Khamenei’s daughter, grandchild, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law were also killed in the strike.
