Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, has said the country is not interested in engaging in a prolonged war with Iran and will work closely with the United States when deciding the appropriate time to end the conflict.
Speaking to reporters in Jerusalem, Saar explained that Israel plans to consult its American allies before taking any decision about concluding the fighting.
“We will talk with our American friends when we believe the time is right,” he said. “We are not looking for an endless war.”
However, the minister refused to provide any timeline for when the conflict could end.
He said it is too early to predict how long the situation will last.
