The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that a possible presidential ticket featuring former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso would pose a serious challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election.
Speaking during a recent church service shared online, Ayodele said such an alliance would shake the APC and make the election highly competitive.
According to him, “It’s going to be Jonathan, Kwankwaso on that ticket, and it’s going to give APC Tinubu government a very tough time.”
The cleric advised Kwankwaso to consider joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He noted that the party could provide a platform for what he described as a strong opposition movement.
“Kwankwaso should go to ADC,” he stated, suggesting that the move would help form a formidable presidential team.
Ayodele stressed that the next election would not be an easy one for the ruling party.
“It’s not going to be an easy election. No, it’s not,” he said.
He added that the political landscape may shift significantly before voters head to the polls.
He also claimed that the proposed alliance could attract support from outside the country.
