
As part of efforts to reposition the state for effective performance, Governor, Dikko Radda, of Katsina State has reshuffled his cabinet.
Consequently, the governor has nominated two commissioners, appointed new head of agencies and aides, among others.
In a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, the governor forwarded names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
The governor also approved the appointment of Suleiman Namadi as the Managing Director of the Katsinaa State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency, the agency responsible for addressing environmental degradation and water management challenges in the state.
The governor also approved Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma Hajiya Jamila Salm and Alhaji Muddasir Mati as senior Special Assistants.
Also, Alhaji Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur were named as Special Abdulfatah
The Governor congratulated the appointees, just as he expressed confidence in their ability to contribute effectively to governance and drive development within their respective portfolios.
