Kidnappers have demanded N100m ransom for the release of the Local Government secretary abducted at a poultry farm in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. LIB reported that Joseph Kayode Aladesuyi, a farmer and a female victim, Esther Akinlolu, were abducted on Monday morning, March 9, 2026 at the farm along Kajola Road. Kayode is the Secretary of Okeluju Local Council Development Area in Akoko North-West Local Government Area. According to the family, the kidnappers made contact with them on Tuesday morning, demanding a N100 ransom. Good morning, With heavy hearts we inform you that our father Honourable Joseph Aladesuyi, was abducted yesterday, the family says in a statement. "The kidnappers contacted the family this morning and have demanded a ransom of N100,000,000.
