Akor Adams has said Sevilla worked hard for the thrilling home victory over Espanyol, DAILY POST reports.
Luis García Plaza’s men rallied from a goal down to beat Espanyol 2-1 at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Saturday.
Adams came off the bench to score the winner deep into stoppage time.
It was the Nigeria international’s ninth league goal of the season for the Rojiblancos.
Sevilla moved to 12th position on the table following the win, three points above the relegation zone.
Adams said the entire squad is happy with the crucial victory.
“I’m very happy for the three points, for my teammates. We worked hard and we’re very happy with the three points,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.
Sevilla will travel to Villarreal for their next league game.
