Liverpool have received the first official bid for Luis Diaz as the summer 2025 transfer window intensifies.

Liverpool have turned down a formal €67.5 million bid from Bayern Munich for Colombian winger Luis Díaz, which is the first bid of the summer 2025 transfer window for teh forward according to reports.

The offer was said to have been submitted earlier this week, was swiftly rejected by the Anfield hierarchy, who had already closed the door on any major departures this summer.

Bayern’s interest comes amid their squad overhaul under new manager Vincent Kompany, with Díaz identified as a key target to strengthen the flanks.

However, Liverpool remain firm in their stance, maintaining that the 27-year-old is not for sale, at least in this window.

Díaz, for his part, is said to be open to a summer exit, with both Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona showing long-standing interest in securing his services.

Despite his openness to a move, Liverpool are prioritizing squad stability under new head coach Arne Slot and view Díaz as an essential part of their plans for the 2024/25 campaign.

The Colombian international joined Liverpool from FC Porto in January 2022 and has since become a regular fixture in the side, known for his pace, work rate, and flair in the final third.

While Bayern’s pursuit may not be over, Liverpool’s message for now is clear, Díaz is staying.
