Man United reach transfer agreement with a club for Andre Onana

Fresh reports have emerged that Man United have reached a transfer agreement with another club for Andre Onana.

According to numerous sports media sources such as Fabrizio Romano, Man United have reached a transfer agreement with Trabzonspor which would see Andre Onana join the Turkish side on a season long loan deal.

This is a clear indicator that the Red Devils have no plans for the Cameroonian in the 2025/2026 Premier League season. All indications however indicate that Onana has not reached an agreement with the Turkish side but there are no conversations of him not open to the move.

According to Football Insider, Andre Onana has no future at Manchester United, and the club is prepared to entertain fresh offers for him in the January transfer window. It was revealed that the 29-year-old, who was a regular starter last season, has been informed he is not part of United’s plans. New manager Ruben Amorim has made his stance clear, dropping Onana from the first three league games of the season before moving to sign Senne Lammens.

It was also reported that a move to the Saudi Pro League remains possible, with their transfer window open until 23 September, 2025. However, despite United actively working on his exit, interest in the goalkeeper has been limited, meaning a transfer may not materialize until January, 2026.
