The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, flag was officially removed from the Zamfara State Government House in a ceremony attended by Deputy Governor Mani Malam Mummuni and members of Governor Dauda Lawal’s cabinet.
DAILY POST reported earlier that this development comes after Deputy Governor Mummuni announced the defection of the state government from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He made the announcement on behalf of Governor Dauda Lawal while addressing supporters and stakeholders across the state.
Mummuni urged party members and supporters to back the decision, emphasizing that the move was in the interest of Zamfara’s development.
