Naira gains N0.76 against dollar at official window

The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated against the American dollar at the official window on Tuesday.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the naira closed at N1,506.08/$1, as against N1,506.84/$1 it traded on Monday.

This represents a gain of N0.76 for the local currency against the American greenback.

The naira closed flat against the dollar to trade at N1,525/$1.

The local currency also closed flat against the British Pound to trade at N2,090/£1.

It closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,230/CA$1.

The naira closed flat against the Euro to trade at ₦1,790/€1.
