The Nigerian currency, the naira, lost N5 against the dollar at the black market on Friday.
The naira traded at N1,510/$1, as against the previous day’s rate of N1,505/$1.
The local currency gained N10 against the British Pound to trade at N2,005/£1 as against the previous day’s rate of N2,015£1.
It, however, closed flat against the Canadian dollar and Euro to trade at N1,200/CA$1 and ₦1,735/€1 respectively.

Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is yet to release the official exchange rate as at the time of filing this report at 7.16 p.m., on Friday.
