Napoli striker, Romelu Lukaku, is facing disciplinary action for skipping training as the Serie A giants released a statement.
Antonio Conte’s side is considering taking legal action against Lukaku after the Belgian failed to report for training today.
As a result, there have now been tensions between both parties after the former Chelsea star spent the international break in Belgium while recovering from injury.
“SSC Napoli can confirm that Romelu Lukaku did not respond to today’s call to return to training,” Napoli’s statement read on Tuesday.
“The club reserves the right to consider taking the appropriate disciplinary action.
“As well as to determine whether the player will continue to train with the team for an indefinite period.”
