The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested Lagos socialite and nightclub owner Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, widely known as Pretty Mike, along with former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh and more than 100 other guests during a midnight raid on Proxy Nightclub in Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, NDLEA disclosed that the operation was carried out in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, following credible intelligence reports about the alleged use and sale of banned substances at the club.
During the raid, operatives reportedly recovered several cartons of illicit drugs, including Loud (a high-grade strain of cannabis) and laughing gas (nitrous oxide).
Babafemi explained that NDLEA officers had infiltrated the club around 11 p.m. on Saturday before executing the full operation at approximately 3 a.m., in accordance with the agency’s standard operating procedures.

The statement issued by the NDLEA reads, “In Lagos, NDLEA operatives in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, raided Proxy Night Club at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, where a drug party was going on. Over 100 suspects, including the owner of the club, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, alias Pretty Mike, were arrested and taken into custody for screening. Cartons of illicit substances, including Loud and laughing gas, were recovered from suspects at the party and the club’s store.
“The raid followed intelligence about the drug party. NDLEA operatives who were embedded in the party between 11 pm on Saturday, 25th October, and 3 am on Sunday, 26th October, disrupted the gathering based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).”
The NDLEA confirmed that all those apprehended are currently being profiled and screened, while further investigations are ongoing as part of a broader effort to curb the circulation of illegal substances in Lagos’ nightlife scene.
