
The Niger State chapter of the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC, has assured the Commissioner of Police, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, of its unwavering support and cooperation in information sharing and intelligence gathering to enhance peace and security in the state.
The executive members of the PCRC, led by Chairman Alhaji Alhassan Wasagi, made this known during a courtesy visit to the Niger State Police Command Headquarters in Minna. They expressed their readiness to work with the police in representing the interests of the people of the state.
Wasagi explained that the visit by the PCRC executives was aimed at fostering a stronger relationship with the police command to ensure effective information sharing, intelligence gathering, and community policing.
He also pledged continued prayers and support for the commissioner as he leads the affairs of the command.
In his response, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman appreciated the efforts of the PCRC and reaffirmed his commitment to collaborative policing, promising to keep his doors open for future engagements.
“We appreciate all your efforts in ensuring that the interests of the Police are protected and I urge you to continue to do so,” he added.
