A Ghanaian journalist and on-air personality, SOG Precious, has justified the recent protest by some youths in his country, demanding Nigerians exit.
In an interview with Channels Television on Friday, the popular broadcaster who works with Starr FM in Accra and has a very strong voice in the country, said the “Nigeria Must Go” in his country was a retaliation for the 1983 “Ghana Must Go” protest in Nigeria.
When he was asked for his take on the protest where hundreds of Ghanaians trooped into the streets of Accra calling for Nigerians to be expelled from the country because their alleged criminal tendencies, the media strategist said:
“It is a form of retaliation for what happened in 1983,” referring to the Ghana Must Go protest after Nigerians took to the streets demanding that well over three million Ghanaians who were then living in Nigeria should be sent packing.
Precious also claimed that data in Ghana suggests that some Nigerians, especially young girls, are prominent in prostitution and other outlawed activities in the country.
