A Nigerian lady, Amaka Lucy, has revealed that she felt betrayed when a close friend she had kept updated about her pregnancy journey turned out to be pregnant at almost the same time but hid it from her. According to Lucy, she got to find out when the friend, who she considered a family, gave birth two months after she ( Amaka) delivered her baby. "I want to know if I am overreacting. When I was pregnant, I shared it with my close friends or let me say those I thought was friends. I was going, I kept updating them and even my struggles," she wrote. There is this particular person who is really close to me, like my babe. I considered her a family because we known for yearssss. I have lived together, cried and laughed together. I go to her if I have any small questions because shes a mother with experience. We talk on phone. We chat. We did video calls where I was showing her my belly and all. I updated her until the day gave birth. We were all happy. Colour me shocked when she posted in less than two months after I gave birth that she just had a baby. I was lost for a minute.Called to confirm and truly it wasnt a prank. Like my babe was pregnant all this while but didnt care to mention it? Never felt so betrayed in my life. I know I am a great friend, I am not even bragging. I am a good friend! Since then weve been communicating, doing business but I cant seem to wave that off my head. She calls and still talk to me like nothing happened but deep down I feel so hurt. I know shell be seeing this here for the first time.
