8. Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Monday attacked Sabon Gyero community in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing one person and abducting seven others. The attackers reportedly stormed the community in large numbers in the early hours of today, invaded a residence and abducted three women and four children.

The Federal Government has fulfilled its pledge to reward members of Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, following their historic victory at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket, where they successfully defended their continental title.
