ABS FC has accused Kada Warriors of fielding an ineligible player in their Matchday Six clash in Ilorin.
ABS FC made the accusation in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, Aliyu Ferinyaro was fielded by the Kaduna-based club despite prior notice from match officials.
Ferinyaro was reported to be a former player of ABS FC with a valid and subsisting contract with the club.
“ABS FC believes in the rule of law and the sanctity of contracts,” the club stated.
“Aliyu Ferinyaro captained this club and remains under contract. Until due process is duly followed, he remains an ABS Ilorin FC player.”
The club described the incident as a critical test of integrity for the Nigeria National League, NNL.
