Crown FC head coach, Ayodeji Ayeni, has echoed his team’s determination to improve on their achievement in the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.
The Ajilete Warriors reached the 2024/25 NNL play-offs but finished bottom of their group.
Ayeni said the goal is to gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
“Last year showed what we are capable of; this year, we want to go one better and secure the promotion ticket our fans have long desired,” Ayeni told OyoSportsNews.
Crown FC are grouped alongside Abia Comets, Beyond Limit FA, Edel FC, E-World United, Inter Lagos FC, Godswill Akpabio United, Smart FC, and the two relegated NPFL sides, Sunshine Stars and Heartland FC.
The 2025/26 season will commence on Saturday, 8 November.
