Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Abdullahi Maikaba has demand improvement from his players after their opening match at the Nigeria National League, NNL, Super 8 playoff tournament.
The Bauchi Elephants played out a goalless draw against Doma United at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Saturday.
Maikaba expressed optimism in his team’s ability to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
“It was a tough opener, we created chances but couldn’t convert,” Maikaba stated in a post-match interview.
“The most important thing now is to stay focused and prepare better for the next match. I’m confident the boys will bounce back stronger.”
Wikki Tourists will do battle with Barau FC in the matchday two fixture on Monday.
