Shina Adeoye has tendered his resignation as the Chief Scout of Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Sunshine Stars.
Adeoye announced his resignation in a letter presented to the club’s management on Thursday.
Adeoye cited pressing personal and professional commitments as the reason for his disengagement with the club.
Part of the letter reads“I write to formally notify the management of my decision to step aside from my position as Chief Scout of Sunshine Stars Football Club, Akure,”
“This decision has become necessary in order to attend to some pressing personal and professional commitments relating to my football career, which may not allow me to effectively discharge my duties in this role.”
Sunshine Stars failed to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
