Nothing performs magic better than money - Mixed reactions trail jaw-dropping transformation of former teacher and Yobe lawmaker

A member of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Honourable Lawan Musa Majakura, has elicited mixed reactions with his jaw-dropping transformation two years after he won election.  Recall that Majakura, a volunteer teacher, made history when he defeated the former Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Ahmed Mirwa Lawan, in the 2023 State Assembly elections.  Majakura, who won under the platform of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in November 2023.  The lawmaker's latest photos have sparked discussion online about poverty and the transformational power of money.    While some criticised Majakura, a few others said that they have no issue with him as long as he is not neglecting people in his constituency.   The post Nothing performs magic better than money - Mixed reactions trail jaw-dropping transformation of former teacher and Yobe lawmaker appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
