Shooting Stars Technical Adviser Nurudeen Aweroro has attributed his team’s impressive run of form to hard work.
The Oluyole Warriors are currently on a five-game unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Aweroro’s side defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in a matchday 10 encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on Sunday.
Shooting Stars currently occupy second position on the NPFL table with 15 points from nine matches.
The young tactician also noted that his team’s slow start to the season was due to his late appointment.
“There is nothing so special about our current impressive form; it’s just a result of hard work,” Aweroro told 3SCfantv.
“We were appointed a month to the start of the new season. We didn’t have enough time for preparation and we lost one of our coaches. We didn’t let that deter us, so we put in hard work, which we are benefitting from now.”
