Kun Khalifat FC goalkeeper, Chijioke Ejiogu, has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to maintain their impressive run of form in the remaining fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Owerri-based club are on a four-game unbeaten run in the NPFL.
Kun Khalifat FC will do battle with Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
Ejiogu urged the club’s supporters to come out in large numbers to cheer them to victory in the Oriental Derby clash.
“I’m confident in the team, we are all in good form at the moment as we have won a couple of games in a row,” Ejiogu told the club’s media.
“We just need to keep going as we will need our supporters to be there and show us the support to keep us going.”
Kun Khalifat need positive results in the last two matches to maintain their top-flight status.
