Enyimba have announced the appointment of Uche Okechukwu as their new sporting director, DAILY POST reports.
Okechukwu takes over from Ifeanyi Ekwueme, who resigned from the post earlier this week.
The 48-year-old also played for Enyimba during his active career.
The former Nigeria international played in Europe for Danish outfit Brøndby IF and Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK.
Okechukwu was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the title at the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations.
His vast experience, integrity, and deep knowledge of the game are expected to help steer Enyimba to greater heights.
