Enyimba midfielder Edidiong Ezekiel says the team is focused on their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 25 clash against Bendel Insurance.
The players of the People’s Elephant embarked on a strike over the non-payment of entitlements earlier this week.
The matter has since received the attention of the club’s management and the Abia State government.
The People’s Elephant will face Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium this weekend.
Edidiong assured that the team is determined to finish the season in a respectable position.
“On Saturday we go against Bendel Insurance in Benin, and we are focused on the task ahead,” Edidiong told Naifooty.
“At this point, we want to urge our darling fans not to relent in their unflinching support, as we need them behind us, and we promise to keep working hard to ensure we finish the season on a high.”
