Kano Pillars midfielder Auwalu Ali Malam has returned to training after an injury layoff, DAILY POST reports.
Auwalu has been battling with an undisclosed injury since the start of the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The 24-year-old last featured for the Sai Masu Gida in their matchday two encounter against Wikki Tourists.
Auwalu took part in a light training session with the rest of his teammates on Thursday.
“Recovery Processm Auwalu Ali Malam, aka ka ci kowa, is back with the rest of the team doing some light training,” Kano Pillars stated.
Kano Pillars will face neighbours Barau FC in a matchday nine fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium this weekend.
