Kun Khalifat FC head coach, Obinna Uzoho has declared his team’s readiness for battle against Kano Pillars, DAILY POST reports.
The modest side will host the four-time champions in a matchday 36 encounter at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.
Both teams will be desperate to secure maximum points as they fight for survival in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
Mohammed Babaganaru’s Kano Pillars sit in 12th position with 45 points.
Kun Khalifat are in 18th position with 40 points.
Uzoho declared that his team will go all out for maximum points in the game.
“We are up against the “Old Dog” of the NPFL. Sai Masu Gida is a team with deep history, but we will play in our home ground,” Uzoho told the club’s media.
“We do not fear, even though we respect them. They might have the name, but we have the hunger, we are hungrier.”
