Kwara United goalkeeper, Suraj Ayeleso, is adamant that the draw against Shooting Stars will boost the club’s survival aspiration.
Suleiman Ashifat’s side held Shooting Stars to a 0-0 draw at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.
The Harmony Boys moved up to 16th position on the league table following the stalemate.
Kwara United will lock horns with Barau FC in their next league fixture this weekend.
Ayeleso is optimistic that they will secure victory over Barau FC to move them to a more comfortable position on the league table.
“It’s the result that we want because we are in the red zone, with the draw we moved a little bit out of relegation,” Ayeleso stated to the media.
“We hope to secure the maximum points in our next match against Barau FC so as to help our position more on the league table.”
