The Niger State government has announced a N2 million bonus for Niger Tornadoes ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 36 encounter against Kwara United.

The state Sports Commission Chairman, Danjuma Abdul Masu made the announcement on Thursday in Minna.

Niger Tornadoes will lock horns with Kwara United at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna on Sunday.

AbdulMasu pledged that the players will earn N100,000 per goal or assist, the technical crew will get N500,000, while support staff will receive N100,000.

He stated that the incentive is aimed at boosting the players’ morale to go for victory in the game.

Niger Tornadoes sit in 14th position with 43 points, three points adrift of the relegation zone.
