
Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Evans Ogenyi has commended his players for their performance despite the defeat to Shooting Stars.
The Bauchi Elephants lost 3-2 to Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Sunday.
Sadiq Ibrahim, Lucky Emmanuel and Tijani Alameen were on target for Shooting Stars, while Abba Musa and John Taiwo scored for Wikki Tourists.
Ogenyi promised to improve on the lapses spotted in the game.
“My boys played well, but the early and late goals were demoralising,” Ogenyi told Wikki Tourists media.
“We have seen the good and bad sides of the game and we will work on especially the bad side to improve in those areas before our next game.”
Wikki Tourists dropped to the relegation zone following the defeat.
They sit in 17th position on the league table with 35 points.
