Olowokere Bankole has left his position as the head coach of Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, side Osun Babes.
Olowokere resigned on the eve of Osun Babes’ start to the second stanza of the season.
The young tactician guided Osun Babes to two wins, three draws and four defeats in the first round.
Osun Babes suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dannaz Ladies in their first match on the resumption of the second stanza in Osogbo.
Meanwhile, the club’s management has reacted to Olowokere’s departure.
Osun Babes stated “the club hierarchy is yet to receive any resignation from Olowookere to that effect,”
“However, if the story is true, it implies that Bankole Olowookere absconded from the team after collecting allowance and other benefits for Osun Babes FC match against Dannaz Ladies Wednesday, 11th March, 2026.”
