At about 2:45 a.m. today, two robbers attempted to gain access to our community 201 Road with the intention of stealing a pumping machine. During the operation, one of the suspects, who was riding the motorcycle, was apprehended, while the second suspect managed to escape.
The arrested suspect has been handed over to the police, along with all the items found “Bolt Cutter” in his possession for proper investigation and necessary action.
We sincerely appreciate the swift response and bravery of the youths in 201 Road who came out to support the security personnel in apprehending the suspect. We also extend our gratitude to the Councillor of ward k HON. DANIEL EGOBI (EOD) for promptly inviting the police, who ensured the suspect was taken to the station.
