Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen was on target for Galatasaray as they overcame a fightback by Juventus to secure a place in the Champions League round of 16.
Having led 5-2 from the first leg in Turkey, Galatasaray fell 3-0 behind after 90 minutes in Turin, leaving them level with their hosts.
The difference came in extra time when Osimhen fired in a fine finish to hand back the lead to Galatasaray.
Juve kept pushing for yet another aggregate equaliser but it was Yilmaz who netted again for Galatasaray to make it 7-5 in their favour. They then held on to win against 10-man Juve.
Galatasaray get through an epic tie and will meet Premier League opposition in the shape of either Liverpool or Tottenham in the last 16.

Earlier, Real Madrid saw off Benfica despite an early lead by the Portuguese side which saw them level 1-1 having trailed 1-0 from the first leg.
But Real put up a strong fight, with Vinicius Junior and Aurelien Tchouameni scoring two goals to seal a 3-1 aggregate victory for the Spanish side.
Elsewhere, defending champions Paris Saint Germain played a 2-2 draw with Monaco, but their first-leg 3-2 victory means they advance to the round of 16 with a 5-4 aggregate win.
Earlier in the day, Atalanta stunned Dortmund as the Serie A side fought back from 2-0 down in the first leg to win 4-3, with a 98th-minute penalty sealing their place in the knockout stages.
