
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, is believed to have rejected two top European clubs in a bid to seal a permanent transfer to Galatasaray this summer.
This was revealed by Nigerian broadcast journalist, Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba, in a post on X.
Buchi Laba claims that Osimhen made it clear to Napoli that he would only leave for Galatasaray.
On Sunday, both clubs finally reached an agreement over a €75 million fee, which is the “biggest transfer in Turkish football history.”
Buchi Laba wrote on X: “Victor James Osimhen rejected 2 Top European clubs + The Saudis to return back to Galatasaray. He made it very clear to Napoli that he wants to return back to Turkiye.
“Same way he gave Galatasaray his word that he won’t leave in January 2025 when he was on loan. He told them they’re his priority and Thumbs up to those they did this deal for Galatasaray. They worked serious Magic.
“This is the biggest transfer in Turkish Football History and hopefully great things will come from it.”
