The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has announced the swearing-in ceremony of 17 newly appointed permanent secretaries.
This was disclosed via his official X handle on Tuesday.
The seventeen newly appointed permanent secretaries were officially sworn in on Tuesday, with the governor calling on them to uphold high standards of public service.
Makinde described the appointments as “a call to higher service based on merit,” noting that his administration has established a structure to ensure a transparent and merit-based selection process that is representative.
He urged the officials to carry out their duties diligently, warning against allowing personal interests to interfere with their official responsibilities.
