Police operatives in Nasarawa State have detained two suspects for allegedly vandalising electric cables and poles at Karu Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesman for the state police command,Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Lafia.
He said a patrol team attached to the Gitata Division of Karu, apprehended the suspects while on routine patrol along the Gitata–Gunduma Road on Friday.

He added that the suspects were from Jikwoyi, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He listed items recovered from the suspects to include iron cutters, pliers, spanners, electric cables, and one grey Hyundai Sonata with registration number GWA 44 PM.
