Katy has hit back against the reports, branding them as "reckless lies". Now, Victoria Police have confirmed they are now probing the claims made by Ruby into Katy's alleged actions. According to the Sun, the allegations stem from a reported incident in a nightclub in Melbourne in 2010. A spokesperson for Victoria Police in Australia said confirmed they were now looking into the claims. "Melbourne Sxual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sxual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010," they said. "Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbournes CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage." After taking her to her social media to make the allegations, Ruby has now said that police have told her not to speak out on the allegations she made as the investigation goes on. In a new update, Ruby told her followers that she had been in touch with the authorities. "Last update on this: As of this afternoon, I have finalized all of my reports," she wrote to fans. "This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved. "Its going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other peoples experiences, but Im not. This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief". She claimed: "I can start the healing process now and temporarily move forward. I love you all so much." In a statement issued before the police investigation was formally opened, a spokesperson for Katy denied the claims being made against her.
